Architecture shaped around purpose, function & experience.
Sultan Design Studio is the dedicated architecture and design company within Sultan Group of Companies, bringing concept design, planning, interiors and design coordination together within one connected process.
One connected process from first idea to coordinated design.
Every project is approached according to its purpose, site, users and spatial requirements. From the first architectural idea to detailed planning, the team works to create environments that function effectively, carry a clear identity and support the wider objectives of the development.
One connected design system, seven specialist capabilities.
Each service addresses a different part of the architectural process. Together, they establish a clear direction for how a development is planned, experienced and presented.
Architectural Concept Design
Architectural concept design establishes the first clear direction for a project. It brings together the purpose of the development, its users, site conditions and spatial requirements to define its form, layout and overall character.
- Project requirement assessment
- Initial architectural concepts
- Building form development
- Functional layout planning
- Design direction
Master Planning
Master planning creates the wider framework for larger developments. Buildings, roads, access points, open areas and shared spaces are organised so that individual parts of the project work together as one environment.
- Site organisation
- Building placement
- Access planning
- Circulation planning
- Shared-space integration
Space Planning
Space planning focuses on how people move through and use a building. Room sizes, access, circulation, privacy and the relationship between different areas are developed according to the purpose of the space.
- Functional zoning
- Layout planning
- Circulation
- Room relationships
- Space optimisation
Residential, commercial and office environments require different solutions, so layouts are developed around actual use rather than a standard planning formula.
Interior Design
Interior design brings the architectural concept into the spaces people experience directly. Layouts, materials, lighting, finishes, colours and furniture are considered together so that internal spaces remain connected with the character and function of the wider development.
- Interior layout development
- Material selection
- Lighting planning
- Finishes and colour direction
- Furniture planning
Building Elevation Design
The elevation establishes the public face of a building. Sultan Design Studio considers proportions, openings, materials, lighting and architectural details to create an exterior that reflects the purpose and character of the project.
- Façade composition
- Material direction
- Window and opening design
- Architectural detailing
- Exterior visual development
High-Rise Design
High-rise developments bring multiple floors, users and functions into one vertical environment. Entrances, parking, lifts, stairs, shared spaces and individual floors must therefore operate as a coordinated system.
- Floor planning
- Vertical circulation
- Entrance organisation
- Shared-area planning
- Multi-use coordination
The studio develops these relationships with particular attention to movement, accessibility and the way different areas of the building connect.
Design Coordination
Architecture involves input from architects, engineers, developers and construction teams. Design coordination helps keep those disciplines aligned with the approved architectural direction as a project develops.
- Architectural coordination
- Design reviews
- Cross-team communication
- Detail alignment
- Design continuity
A five-stage route from vision to coordinated design.
The studio follows a structured process in which each stage develops the project further while keeping later decisions connected with the original requirements.
Project & Site Understanding
The team begins with project purpose, users, spatial requirements and intended character, while considering access, surroundings, orientation, views and land configuration.
Concept Development
The information is translated into an architectural concept. Building form, identity, entrances and the broad organisation of space begin to take shape.
Spatial Planning
Layouts are refined with closer attention to movement, room relationships, circulation, access and shared areas. Each space is given a clear role.
Design Development
Elevations, materials, interiors, lighting, finishes and other elements are developed around the approved architectural direction.
Design Coordination
The studio reviews key decisions and coordinates architectural information with the wider project team to maintain continuity from concept onward.
Design expertise across different real estate environments.
Sultan Design Studio works across residential, commercial, mixed-use and high-rise developments within the Sultan Group real estate portfolio. Working across these requirements allows the studio to adapt its approach to the purpose of each project rather than applying one architectural style or planning solution to every development.
Residential Design
Residential planning considers privacy, natural light, storage, movement and the relationship between private and shared family spaces.
Commercial Design
Commercial environments require clear access, efficient layouts, visibility and spaces that support customer or workplace activity.
Mixed-Use Developments
Mixed-use projects require careful separation and connection between residential, commercial, retail and shared areas.
High-Rise Projects
Vertical developments place greater importance on circulation, parking, entrances, lifts, shared areas and the relationship between multiple floors and functions.
Malik Moin
Head ArchitectMalik Moin serves as Head Architect at Sultan Group and leads the architecture department, connecting the architectural direction of each development with the wider goals and vision of the Group.
His approach places the requirements of clients and investors at the centre of the design process. At the same time, each project is planned around the needs of the people who will ultimately use the space.
Under his direction, the architecture team focuses on translating ideas into organised and purposeful environments. Design quality is considered alongside functionality, while innovation is used where it can improve planning, usability or the overall experience of a development.
The guiding principle is to understand the vision behind a project clearly and carry it through the architectural process with care and consistency.
Architecture that gives Sultan Group developments physical form.
Sultan Design Studio represents the Architecture & Design function within Sultan Group’s wider business structure. The Group identifies the studio alongside its specialised development, marketing, legal and construction companies.
By working within this connected environment, the studio can translate development objectives into architectural concepts, organised spaces, interiors and building identities while maintaining communication with the teams responsible for taking projects forward.
Its role is to give each development a clear architectural foundation—connecting the original vision with the spaces, forms and design decisions that bring it into physical form.
